I've got the latest version of Adium on my IMac which is going well, its useful, fast, and stable.
I do have 2 questions regarding some stuff that I'm used to in Windows in either Windows Messenger, no, not Live, Live sucks imo, and Miranda.
1. How do I show the user names in the message window? They'll show up fine in the chat transcript viewer.
2. How do I do multiuser chats?
I've looked online for those answers, but I'm probably doing something wrong, or there's no way, thx for the help in advance.

Ask the people on the Macvisionaries mailing list. They could probably help you with that. I've never had a desire for that personally.

I'll search through the Macvisionaries archives, to see if I can find anything regarding my question, if I find it, I'll post the url, thx for the suggestion, Jesse

Multiple chats are easy. you can use command left and right arrow to move through the open chats although I choose to move to the end of the window with vokeys-end where you will see buttons with the names of the active chats. I just use the vo curser to click on one of those that way I can be sure what person I am chatting with.

I'll rephrase my second question, since I actually like how Adium does the whole user conversations into different tabs, thing.

In Windows Messenger, you can have conversations with more than one user at once.
How do I do the same thing in Adium?
